The Summer I turned Pretty by Jenny Han

Image result for the summer i turned prettyJenny Han is currently most known for her book "To all the boys I've loved before" which is now a Netflix phenomenon. However, it isn't the first book of hers I fell in love with. "The Summer I Turned Pretty" is my all time favorite novel and leads into a trilogy I've read over and over again countless times! This is definitely my go-to for a romance that doesn't come easy, requires some crazy twists, turns and a whole lot of patience.

 The series starts off with a great breakdown of the summer context, families, friendships and never ending teen crushes. Little do readers know- I mean now you'll know- that those teen crushes are going to take you on a roller coaster of loss, pain, beauty, friendship, and A LOVE TRIANGLE YAS! The twists and emotions in her writing make me laugh and cry, even though I've already read the books fifteen times and know what's coming. 

 Anyone looking for a Summer romance that will take you for a wild and unforgettable ride, check out these amazing books, and PLEASE Netflix, give me a movie!!!!

 Hey gems,  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as summer is approaching! We have been busy trying to pick out all the furniture for the new place. It has been quite a wild journey to get here so I thought I would take some time to review everything that has been going on! Firstly, my favourite store by far is Structube , it is my favourite place and has such a great variety of items but way less overwhelming then a big store like Ikea.  The first thing we picked is our dining table and chairs. The chairs are warm brown leather and the table has a fake live edge that I LOVE! This was the easiest item to choose by far! This is all in a warm theme and tones that will go well with the dark floors and cabinets. New Year Update!

 Hi Gems,  Wow it has been a while. The last time I wrote and published on here was in October which honestly feels like a lifetime. As the holidays came and went, we rang in the new year and I find myself thinking a lot about not only lessons learned this year but the direction I want to aim for when going into 2024.  As you may know if you follow my other platforms, I am getting married this year which feels surreal! It's been so far away for so long and here we are counting down less then a year!  Hey gems,  Reporting live is your 2024 bride here! Happy to report most wedding planning is complete, but we certainly aren't done just yet!
